SOFT EYES FINISHED!

Hello Everyone!

Feels really weird to say this but we have finished the sophomore Bear Colony album. We have titled it "Soft Eyes." We hope that you love it as much as we do. Next up is mastering with Alan Douche at West West Side in NYC. That makes 6 studios, over 20 songs (some kept, some trashed), 3 states and 3 years worth of work. The plan is to release it on vinyl, disc and digitally in May. 

Thanks so much everyone of you for being a part of this very lengthy process. We look forward to getting it out into the world. Here is the final track listing:

home stretches.

this picture above by designer / artist renee fernandez pretty much sums up what I think the album would look  like in visual form.  today is the last day in fayetteville..we have been here since sunday editing tracks, recording new parts, laughing, sleeping, eating and enjoying everyone and everything here.

I would like to personally thank all the people who helped to make the completion of this album so special and care free. I definitely think it's a step forward for us musically and the journey from beginning to end isn't entirely over yet. it has been a span of two years since writing and recording this beast.

next up will be mixing and mastering which will bring us together with a whole other set of people with whom we will share this process with. thanks for following and keeping up with us. we appreciate it a great deal.

all up in da studio.

well, we've made it to the studio. we acquired a wireless signal a little bit ago and have begun taking advantage of it. so far today I have eaten at flying burritos twice and took notice of their 1 dollar PBR's. things are rolling here loading in tracks, and editing as we go. it's sounding really beautiful and we are happy to be finishing it! talk soon.
